Vietnam Participates in 4th Asia-Europe Policy Forum and 37th ICAPP Meeting | Policy

Prague (VNA) – A delegation of the Vietnamese Party participated in the 4th Asia-Europe Political Forum (AEPF) and the 37th meeting of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP), which took place in the Czech Republic from June 10 to 12.

The forum, founded in 2017, attracted the participation of 28 parties from 21 Asian and European countries. He discussed COVID-19[feminine]– related experiences, globalizationand future EU-Asia relations.

It adopted a declaration emphasizing the importance of strengthening the partnership through the important role of the cooperation of political parties towards sustainability and comprehensiveness.

At the 37th meeting of ICAPP held within the framework of the AEPFthe participants agreed to work together to promote cooperation among political parties in the region as well as their collaboration with their peers from other regions.

On the sidelines of the event, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Foreign Relations Commission, Ngo Le Van, who led the Vietnamese delegation, held talks with Jan Zahradil, Vice Chairman of the Party’s International Trade Commission. European Parliament ; ICAPP leaders; and representatives of participating parties.

Van said the Communist Party of Vietnam will continue to actively contribute to ICAPP operations and priority directions.
