Woman divorcing her husband who is in love with his sister
A woman on Reddit is divorcing her husband after finding out he’s in love with her sister and leading a double life online.
On Reddit, she explained that her gamer husband hasn’t changed his device passwords since they started dating. While he slept, she decided to investigate his accounts and dig into his messages.
“I was shocked by what I saw,” the anonymous woman wrote via Reddit.
“My husband is in love or at least has a crush on my sister,” she continued. The first red flag she noticed was her fascination and concern over her sister’s recent weight gain.
“I’m not the only one he complains to about his weight gain. His best friend knows EVERYTHING. In fact, he sends him photos of my sister and openly admits that he uses those photos to please himself on certain nights “, explained the woman.
“One of the pics he’s masturbating to is from his Facebook – WITH MY CHILDREN KISSING HER CHEEK,” she continued, adding “he also took pics of her on our vacation – in a bikini. He just cropped some of them out for me.”
Snooping through his messages, she noticed something else odd about her husband’s communications with his gamer friends: “He claims my sister and her kids are his family.”
“He proudly brags about having it. His profile picture is of her, his kids, and him at a Christmas party,” she shared, clarifying that she didn’t blame du all her sister for her husband’s betrayal.
Ironically, she and her husband recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary together in Paris, and he tells her everyday that he loves her. But she doesn’t believe him.
“I am divorcing my husband,” she wrote.
“I haven’t told him yet what I’ve read and seen…I’m not ashamed to have snooped into his private affairs, and I’m not going to wait and listen to excuses. It’s beyond goosebumps and beyond salvation. It’s so over,” the woman continued.
In a later update to her post, the woman shared that she had spoken to her mother about her marriage and had already left her husband, who apologized and told her “he was disgusted of himself”.
Once he realized there was no turning back from his behavior, he told his wife that his sister was his “escape” from reality and claimed he would never “act according to his fantasies”.
“He poses as a richer, more successful man with a beautiful wife and beautiful children and his [gamer] friends who look up to him,” she wrote, explaining “it gives him the boost he needs to face reality.”
After their breakup, the man “begged” her not to tell her sister – “and especially not to her husband” – and promised never to “disturb” her again.
“I’m in survival mode [right now]. Tears will come when everything works out, and divorce is a fact, not just a reaction! Thank you all for the support…life goes on!” the woman concluded.
In the comments section, Reddit users supported his decision.
“Looks like you have a clear head and still good with your sister and family. Best wishes. Everything will be fine,” one user wrote.
“Good for you! Please get proof and screenshots/photos of the weird posts and behavior before he can take them down. This may be helpful for your divorce proceedings,” another warned. .
“Wow. Good luck to everyone except your husband,” someone else commented.
